Accounts
Everyone who's signed up. Suspending an account blocks it from doing anything beyond watching. It doesn't delete their sign-in, since that's not something this app can safely do on its own.
Clubs
Every club in the system. Tap one to view or manage its members and admins.
System Admin Access
This page isn't linked from anywhere in the app.
System Admin
This access is separate from any group's own admin, and isn't visible to group admins.
Accounts
See and manage everyone who's signed up, across every group.
Clubs
View or manage the members and admins of any club in the system, not just the ones your own account happens to belong to.
Usernames
If someone's sign-up gets interrupted partway (e.g. their connection drops, or a setting wasn't ready yet), their chosen username can get stuck reserved even though no account was actually created. This frees up any of those. Usernames are unique across the whole app, not per group, so this lives here rather than with a group's own admin tools.
Content moderation
Scans every comment and prediction across all rounds for names or messages that match the content filter, for anything saved before the filter existed, since the filter itself only checks new submissions.
Player roster cleanup
Finds any player entries with no name, for a club of your choosing, these are always the result of a bug writing to a bad path (as opposed to any genuine player data), and safe to remove.
Backup
Downloads everything (every round, player, course and account) as a single file to your device.
Welcome to Follow18
Join your friend group with the code they shared, or create a new club if you're the first one here. Everything (rounds, players, stats) stays private to your club.
My clubs
Everyone in a club shares the same rounds, players and stats, private to that club only.
Your clubs
Create a club
You'll become that club's admin. You'll get a code afterward to share with people you want to join it.
Join a club
Enter the code someone in an existing club gave you.

Which club loads automatically when you open the app.
Admins
Everyone in the club.
Course locations:
Sets the satellite background image location for a course, for a manually-entered course (never has its own coordinates) or one whose automatic location is showing the wrong place. Doesn't affect weather, which uses its own separate location.

Delete account
Permanently deletes your account, profile and sign-in, and removes you from any club. This can't be undone.
Founded in 2026 by Dan Liquorish
Follow18 was built to close the gap between playing a round of golf and sharing it live with the friends and family who can't be there. Bringing everyone closer together, on and off the course, while keeping golf properly competitive. With real stats, real records, and real bragging rights for your own group.

Help and FAQs
Quick answers to the common questions, and how to reach us if you are stuck.
How do I create or join a club?
From the My Clubs tab, either create a new club (you'll become its admin) or join one with a 6-character code from an existing member. You can belong to more than one club at once.
Can I be in more than one club?
Yes, join or create as many as you like. Whichever one is set as your default is the one the app opens into; switch it any time from My Clubs. Starting a round always saves to whichever club is currently active, and you'll see a reminder of which one that is if you belong to more than one.
What's the difference between Stroke Play, Scramble, and Match Play?
Stroke Play is everyone's individual score, hole by hole. Scramble is doubles. Pick a team and log one combined score per hole. Match Play is Ryder Cup–style, two sides competing hole by hole rather than on total score.
How do handicaps work?
Enter a handicap when starting a stroke play round to see Net scores alongside Gross, with a Gross/Net toggle while scoring. Estimated handicaps are capped at 54, in line with the World Handicap System.
Can I schedule rounds in advance?
Yes, when starting a round, choose to schedule it for later instead of starting straight away. It'll show up as an upcoming round for everyone expected, with a start code so the right group can kick it off when the time comes.
Why do we charge for the Pro features?
We don't want to charge the average golfer a lot of money, so Pro is kept deliberately low. Running Follow18 smoothly has real overheads and costs, and Pro contributions are what help us maintain the app properly. That's all it's for.
What is TV mode?
A full-screen view built for casting to a TV or big screen. It automatically rotates through the leaderboard, recent shots, the current hole, weather, a course record, and more, so a live round can play in the background at the clubhouse or a watch party without anyone needing to hold a phone.
How do I turn on notifications?
Head to Settings and tap "Enable round notifications." On iPhone, this only works once Follow18 is added to your Home Screen from Safari, tap "How do I set this up on iPhone?" right above that toggle for the exact steps.
Who can see my rounds and stats?
Rounds, players, courses, and stats are scoped to your club. Only fellow members can see them. A direct link to a specific round can be opened by anyone it's shared with, and a club can separately choose to make its live rounds publicly searchable.
Can anyone view my round without signing up or downloading the app?
Yes. Anyone with a direct link to a round can open and follow it live in a browser, no account or app install needed. That's by design, so friends and family back home can watch along easily. It doesn't make the round publicly discoverable on its own; only someone with the link (or a club that's opted into public search) can find it.
How do I change my username, or report an offensive one?
You can't rename your own username in-app yet. Get in touch using the details below and we'll sort it. The same goes for reporting an offensive username, player name, or comment.
Still stuck?
Account problems, or anything not working right in your app or club. Get in touch and we'll usually reply within 48 hours.
support@golfscores.ukTurn on notifications
Push notifications only work once this app is added to your Home Screen: a few quick steps, done once per phone.
- Open this page in Safari, not Chrome or any other browser. This only works from Safari on iPhone.
- Tap the Share icon in the toolbar (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen."
- Tap "Add" in the top right.
- Close Safari, then open the app from the new icon on your Home Screen, not from Safari itself.
- Tap "Enable round notifications" in Settings and allow notifications when your phone asks.
Who's going to win?
A rough guess based on past performance, their record at this course if they've played it, their overall average otherwise. Not a real forecast, just for fun.
Only open before the round starts. Once it's live, this closes and scoring takes over.

Round by round
How it's worked out
This is an estimate for fun, not an official handicap. It uses your most recent 20 completed 18-hole stroke play rounds and averages your best ones (the more rounds you have, the more of your best are counted), measured against par.
It doesn't use course rating or slope, so it won't match a club handicap exactly. Nine-hole rounds, scrambles and match play aren't counted. You need three rounds before a handicap appears. A negative change means your handicap came down, which is an improvement.
